Nice list. Lists like this remind me of what a geek I am. Made it through number 8 before finding one I hadn’t read (but only read 3 more after that, so maybe not so bad). As a matter of fact I started Dick’s The Game Player’s of Titan last night. Bought it and read most of it in Poland a few years ago. Survivors of WW III play a game to try to couple successfully (have children). There’s some bad aliens in there somehow too, I don’t really remember.
I’ve read:
1. The HitchHiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – Douglas Adams
2. Nineteen Eighty-Four – George Orwell
3. Brave New World – Aldous Huxley
6. Dune – Frank Herbert
7. I, Robot – Isaac Asimov
12. Watchmen – Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons
17. American Gods – Neil Gaiman

13. Cryptonomicon – Neal Stephenson Only made it like a hundred pages in.
15. Stranger in a Strange Land – Robert Heinlein I read it until I didn’t care what happened anymore (like halfway through).
I have read 8 of them.
I guess I am not as geeky as I thought. I did read most of the dune books though an dall of the foundation books and I am reading my second hitchhiker book now.
