I drove to Kansas City today and I was listening to some mp3s on my Pocket PC.
I really like this lyric from "In Christ Alone" on the Newsboys worship album:
No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
And this is from Waterdeep's "Everyone's Beautiful":
Still they were beautiful
Everyone's beautiful
All of us crawling on hands and knees in need of you
I just read that Waterdeep is going to stop touring. They're playing a farewell show on April 30 and May 1 . . . in Kansas City. This is very close to where I live. Anyone want to go? Tickets are $15.

I want to go!!!!!!!
Yea, it sucks that they are going to stop touring. I have only seen them once (at Cornerstone a couple of years back) and they were great. The power went out in the middle of their set, so they played acoustic for a while.
Let me know if you go - I would go with you if I was out there!
I would go, but that’s when I will be at Coachella
they’re scheduled to play at Cornerstone in Bushnell, Illinois in July as well

Dave- I was at that show when the power went out! Though if I remember right the power was going on and off all stinking week out there.
yea, they had some problems with it most of the week. i think the waterdeep show was hte only problem on main stage though. oh well, it was pretty cool to have them play without power.
and i dont see waterdeep on the cornerstone schedule. i can’t go this year anyway, but i dont see them on there.
aulo: did we go together that year?
to cornerstone that is, not dating… you perv.
Dave, are you going to Cornerstone this year? I’m pretty sure that I am.
no, unortuneatly i will not be going to cornerstone. This will be two years in a row that i have not been there. I will be in the middle of training a bunch of college kids in preparation of going to asia for 4 weeks.
so unless my employment position changes, I will not be attending.
