Mr. Ferguson

I'm posting this from Adrian R-III school where I'm substitute teaching for a fourth grade class. The kids are at recess. They had a teacher go home in the middle of the day and since I'm close they gave me a call. So far it's going well. I taught Social Studies and Math.

You taught Social Studies and Math? I thought you were supposed to be teaching students. Oh well, at least now I know how the pilgrims must have felt.

I don’t know what that means.

Finally giving back to the school that gave you so so much

It’s a Simpson’s quote from the famous Thanksgiving Episodes. When the Bullwinkle balloon springs a leak, one of the commentators says, “Well, looks like Bullwinkle’s finally getting a taste of his own medicine.” When questioned by his counterpart, he asks himself, “Did what I just say make any sense?” Realizing it did not, he covers by saying, “Oh well, now I know how the pilgrims must have felt.” I used that line because, well, I didn’t feel what I wrote was truly post-worthy.

Tim, I recognized the quote and I thought I was giving the appropriate response. But the guy said, “Did what I just say make sense?” not “I don’t know what that means.” And he said it before your line, not after. I’m sorry, I’m getting rusty on some of my Simpsons dialogue, but never fear, I’ve got a Tivo season pass on it, so I’ll be catching up. Last night we watched the Movementarians episode.

I had a feeling you were responding in the appropriate way. I was just so self conscious about my post that I assumed the worst. Which I shouldn’t do because you’re the best. In any case, the Movementarians is a good episode. I especially like the hover bikes and “leader beans.” And then Cletus ends up with all of the money. Go figure.

Leader beans . . . lol. Blistonia! Tim. Don’t feel self-conscious about posting. Do you think I worry about what I post? NO! I rarely even spell check this crap. I love hearing from you, even if you just leave a quick note to say “Hi, I read this post.” Besides, only about 4 people read this thing, anyway. We could use this space for discussing our plans for world domination, and no one would be the wiser. Serenity now!

Hi, I read this post. And, if I’m not mistaken, you wrote “crap.” Does the spell check overlook that? Back to business: If we are going to dominate the world, we need a lawyer. Someone so smooth and tricky that he/she would say things like, “Not only are my clients guilty…but they are innocent of being NOT guilty.” Gotta cover our backs, yo. Peace out.

What is the episode number of the Movementarians? Im doing a paper on it and I need to watch it again….

I’m onto you guys with your world domination plans… see, anyone with a little google and a mania for that line in the simpsons ‘Bullwinkle’s finally gotten a taste of his own medicine’ - can find you and all your evil plans.

Ah crap. New plan!
