Board game wishlist

10/05/05 | by [mail] | Categories: miscellaneous

I created a wishlist at BoardGameGeek.com showing some games that I think would be fun. I don't necessarily want to own these games, I just want to play them. So, if you're thinking about buying some German board games for yourself, consider these to be recommendations. Just make sure you bring them to one of our game nights. I updated my collection online, but it's still nothing compared to Matt's. I also posted my top ten favorite games.

The top ten link is just going to my profile page.

I have never even heard of any of the games on your wishlist!

This is what we need to do. You need to fly out here to California, and we need to have a board game weekend - just play all kinds of cool board games all weekend.

Have you played the Cities and Knights expansion of Settlers of Catan?

3 - Cranium (non-completely obnoxious edition)
4 - Monopoly
5 - Gobblet
6 - Yatzee
7 - Sorry
8 - Risk
9 - Stratego
10 - Rummikub

I have not played that game - yet.

The Ticket to ride conference call sounds inversely fun as a root cannal

Ok…so I played Ticket to Ride for the first time last night (3 times!) and I love it. The Europe version was a little over my head being that I didn’t read the rules, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed it.
