About Us

Welcome to the web home of Danny, Sara and Emma Ferguson. Danny and Sara have been married for almost five years; they met while studying at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO.

Originally from Adrian, MO, Danny graduated from Truman in 2002 with a B.S. in English: Linguistics and an Ancient Greek minor. After 2.5 years as a youth minister, Danny is currently employed at Adrian Bank as a computer guy.

Sara hails from Clever, MO (spare the jokes, please); she graduated from Truman in 2001 with a B.A. in Communication: Journalism and a minor in English. Sara spends most of her time caring for Emma, their three-year-old daughter. She also works from home as a publisher for their local church. She works at Willow Creek Group Home on Tuesday nights.

Emma was born January 3, 2002 in Kirksville, MO. She loves the library, the Care Bears and her cat, Bearsmicks (which she named). Emma also likes computer games, particularly ones played on her dad's Linux computer. Her voice was heard during the intro of one episode of the Daily Source Code, Adam Curry's podcast.

Although Danny works on computers daily at the bank, he spends quite a bit of time on them at home as well. He is currently working with Linux, learning about php, and has started quite a side business by doing computer clean-ups on unfortunate victims of IE spyware. When Danny grows up, he wants to be just like John Linell, or possibly John Flansberg, of They Might Be Giants fame. His most prized possession was a TMBG t-shirt sporting a giant accordion, until it was retired by his wife. Danny's latest obsession is German board games.

Sara has a great appreciation for the 80's: movies, music, etc. (not so much the Iran-Contra mess). She is also a sucker for high school movies and t.v. shows from any era, which makes the WB a staple. While Sara is not a huge board game fan, she will gladly play any trivia game any time, against anyone. Yes, that is a challenge.

After the daughter and the cat, the couple is crucially linked to their TiVo. Season Passes: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart; The Simpsons; Everwood; Gilmore Girls; Smallville; Best Week Ever; Degrassi: The Next Generation. Can you guess who watches the most TV?
