I was in the stands with a bunch of other wives/girlfriends watching our husbands/boyfriends play softball when we were talking about songs and someone asked what the words to &#8220;that song that goes &#8216;hush, hush, keep it down&#8230;&#8217;&#8221; were. My friend said, and very confidently I might add, &#8220;The lyrics are &#8216;hush, hush, keep it down, this is scary.&#8217;&#8221; Fortunately, Rob had recently corrected my identical mistaken lyric on that song so I could reprimand her harshly for overconfidence. When I think about their singing (or sing along in my head), I usually think about the vague, word-like sounds their mumbling resembles. This is particularly true of Radiohead. Most of the time, I can&#8217;t figure out what the heck Thom is saying.
